  • How does the Priority Destinations Program work?

    Earn Priority Miles for everyday purchases on your Priority Destinations MasterCard®. Once you accumulate enough Priority Miles, you can redeem your Priority Miles for your choice of airline travel, hotel accommodations, cruises, car rentals, gift certificates, cash rewards, and even rounds of golf! Use your card for everyday purchases and watch your Priority Miles add up! 

  • How does my Priority Destinations credit card earn Priority Miles?

    Every time you use your Priority Destinations World Elite credit card, you'll receive 5x Priority Miles spent on your first $6,000 in travel purchases, 2x Priority Miles on all other travel, 2x Priority Miles on qualifying Everyday Spend (gas, grocery, cable TV, phone and other monthly utilities), and 1x Priority Miles per $1 spent on other qualifying purchases. Every time you use your Priority Destinations World MasterCard®, you’ll receive 3x Priority Miles spent on your first $6,000 in travel purchases, 1.5x Priority Miles on all other travel, 1.5x Priority Miles on qualifying Everyday Spend (gas, grocery, cable TV, phone and other monthly utilities), and 1x Priority Miles per $1 spent on other qualifying purchases. 

  • How do I redeem my Priority Miles?

    Redeem with an easy-to access online account. Your Priority Miles can be used for your choice of airfare, hotel and car rentals, cruises, vacation packages and more. 

  • Do my Priority Miles expire?

    Each time you use your Priority Destinations MasterCard® to make purchases or redeem your Priority Miles, your Priority Miles expiration date is extended 24 months from the time of your most recent purchase or Miles redemption. 

  • Is there a maximum amount of Priority Miles I can earn per year?

    You can earn unlimited Priority Miles as long as your account remains active. 

  • Can Priority Destinations Priority Miles be transferred to another person's account?

    Yes, you may transfer your Priority Miles to a friend’s or family member's account by using the Gifting Miles page. You must have the recipient's Priority Destinations Member ID and his/her email address in order to transfer miles to the account. You may also include a message to the recipients via email, notifying them of their Priority Miles gift. 

  • I'm a joint cardholder on the credit card account. Can I also redeem the Priority Miles?

    Yes, either the primary or joint cardholder may redeem their combined Priority Miles for their choice of reward. 

  • How do airline redemptions for the Priority Miles Program work?

    You can book travel using your Priority Miles for tickets on any major airlines through Orbitz by accessing the Book Travel page of this website or by calling our Priority Miles Redemption Center at 877-668-4662 or 877-676-5171 for Priority Destinations World Elite cardholders. There are no blackout periods but tickets are limited to availability - as long as a seat is available, you may redeem Priority Miles for a ticket. 

  • Can I upgrade my airline ticket to Business Class or First Class?

    For the majority of our airline rewards, you can redeem your Priority Miles for any class of service. But, you may not upgrade your ticket using Priority Miles once your transaction has been completed. The airline may be contacted for questions on upgrades or other changes to itinerary once tickets are booked. 

  • Who do I contact if something goes wrong with my flight?

    You may contact the airline directly. You will receive contact numbers on your flight itinerary, which will be emailed to you after you redeem Priority Miles for air travel. 

  • What happens if I cancel a flight booked through Priority Miles?

    Tickets are non-changeable and non-refundable. Any changes to itinerary must be handled directly with the airline listed on your itinerary. You may be subject to fees enforced by the airlines for changes to your flight itinerary. 

  • Can I receive airline frequent flyer miles for airline tickets using Priority Destinations Priority Miles?

    Yes. To receive airline miles for flying, you should provide your airline frequent flyer number when booking online through the Book Travel page of this website, or provide your frequent flyer number to the agent at the Redemption Center over the phone when you redeem your Priority Miles. You must work directly with the airline in question if you forget to provide your frequent flyer number or in cases of any discrepancies. 

  • Can I combine my Priority Destinations Priority Miles and my frequent flyer miles for free airline tickets?

    No, our Priority Destinations Program is unique to First Hawaiian Bank and you can only redeem your Priority Destinations Priority Miles for rewards. If you have airline miles, you must work directly with the airline in question if you forget to provide your frequent flyer number or in cases of any discrepancies. 

  • Can I keep my Priority Miles if I close my account?

    No. You will lose all of your Priority Miles if your account is closed. You may, however, gift or transfer your Priority Miles to a friend or family member before closing your account.
